Yes! Isn’t it great? We'll begin to section off an area of the restaurant 30 minutes prior to our advertised store hours specifically for your guests. Please note that we allow our guests “the public” to enter until our advertised closing time, there may be an overlap.
Do you require a deposit to reserve the restaurant?
Yes. A $300 deposit is required for a standard three hour reservation. Please keep in mind this is separate from our $500 venue charge. A 100% deposit refund is provided if reservation is canceled (by email) at least 14 calendar days out. In the event you cancel within 14 calendar days of your reservation, 100% of your deposit will be converted to Beto's Gift Cards for your future use.
If you are providing food for your guests, the balance of your bill is due 30 days from your event.
Deposits for Holiday reservations (i.e New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve) vary depending on Holiday and are non-refundable.

What are the guaranteed revenue requirements?
Sunday thru Tuesday evening (after 9pm): $400/hr - 3 hour minimum
Wednesday and Thursday evening (after 9pm): $500/hr - 3 hour minimum
Friday and Saturday evening (after 10pm): $600/hr - 3 hour minimum

Do you require a pre-stated headcount?
"Yes" / "Kind of Yes"?
"Kind of Yes": If you do not plan to order food for your guests, your anticipated headcount helps us schedule appropriate staff BEFORE your event technically starts. There is a percentage of your guests that will arrive early to dine with us. The larger your party, the larger the number of early diners we can expect.
"Yes": If you choose to provide food for your guests, the amount of food prepared and the bill will be based on this headcount number. We will require your "pre-stated" headcount two days prior to your event.

What time is last call?
Our bartenders will call “last call” 45 minutes before your stated “end” time. We will allow a 15 window to order drinks and an additional 15 minute window for consumption. The last 15 minutes is dedicated to closing tabs and the safe and gradual exit of your guests.

May I hire my own DJ?
Yes. For the safety of our guests and staff, we will NOT allow your DJ to begin his/her setup until we have closed to the public. Other than an electrical outlet, we do not provided assistance or supplies to third party contractors.

Do you offer an open bar?
Of course! If you have the budget, we’ll help you spend it. Open bar simply means that you, the host, is paying for the entire tab. We guarantee you’ll be very popular, at least that night.

Are there any hotels within walking distance?
Yes. We have a two hotels within walking distance. (4 minute walk). There are a number of other hotels in the area that are within five miles of Beto's Mexican Restaurant.

How late does the kitchen stay open?
Our kitchen closes at our advertised store hours. We encourage hosts to invite their guests to come in early if they would like to dine with us. To ensure the best possible service for your guests, we seat all guests per our standard rotation. What? That just means that there is no designated area for your guests prior to your reserved time.

Yes. We have finger food packages starting at $12.95 per person.

Yes. You must tell us in advance what time your party will end. Your deposit, 'guaranteed revenue', the last call, and the last song will be formulated from this stated “end” time.

I need the restaurant before your advertised closing time, is that possible?
Yes, however the minimum expenditure for every hour before our advertised closing time is $1,500.00. So we obviously encourage our guests to start their party after our advertised closing time.

Is there anything in between a cash bar and open bar?
Yes. It is common for hosts to choose an "open bar" for a set time or dollar amount. i.e. the first hour of the event or $500, which ever comes first.
When either the time or set dollar amount has been reached, our bartenders will inform your guests that the “gravy train” has parked, and they're on their own tabs.

Is security personnel required?
Yes. We require host, at host’s expense, to provide a uniformed Grand Prairie police officer(s) for the last three hours of the event. We require one uniformed officer per 50 - 100 guests and one additional officer per 100 guests.
We hire off-duty officers on your behalf. Payment for security is due in full at time of booking. Standard rate for an off-duty officer is $40 - $55/hr. Hourly rate subject to change.

I have a cake, may I bring it? Should I bring my own dessert plates? Do I need to be prepared to cut it?
Yes, you may provide your own cake. We will store your cake in our cooler upon request. We do not provide plate ware and/or utensils for outside desserts and require our guests to provide their own disposable dessert plates. To focus on the service of your party, our staff does not cut cake.

How many guests can your restaurant accommodate?
Our "after hour" event reservations are closed to the public. Therefore, the entire restaurant is reserved for only your guests. Including patio, we can accommodate up to 200 guests.

What do you mean by guaranteed revenue?
"Guaranteed revenue" simply means that your group, (not just you), must generate a minimum amount of revenue EXCLUDING tax, gratuity and venue charge.

What if I reserve the restaurant and my group does not meet the "guaranteed revenue"?
In the event that your group does not meet the "guaranteed revenue", the host will be required to purchase Beto's Gift Cards in the difference for future use.
Our hospitality host will assist you with all your needs, including revenue assessment of your party. If our host feels that your party may not meet the "guaranteed revenue", you will be advised so. Hosts are required to provide a credit card before event.

Place your $300(+) deposit and your $500 venue rental charge via our website or in the restaurant. Please note, your reservation will not be scheduled until deposit and venue rental charge have been paid
